The Ace Glass 6944-10 is a specialized 300 mL three-neck round-bottom flask designed for laboratory chemical synthesis. It is distinguished by its three vertical necks, which provide a streamlined overhead configuration for complex setups involving stirring, condensers, and addition funnels. A unique design element of the Ace 6944 series is the flare-out directly below the center joint. This modification facilitates easier cleaning of the interior and allows for the simple removal of large stirring blades. The outer joints are reinforced to provide extra mechanical strength, reducing the risk of chipping or cracking during assembly and disassembly. The vertical side necks are preferred for certain automated stirring systems. Some of the common applications include multi-component reactions, controlled heating, and vacuum distillation.
