The Eppendorf (Model F-45-30-11) Fixed-Angle Rotor (Catalog 022654004) is a high-throughput centrifugation accessory designed specifically for the Eppendorf Centrifuge 5430 and 5430 R series. While it shares the "F-45-30-11" model code with older rotors used in the 5417 series, this specific catalog number represents the newer generation designed for the 5430's spindle geometry. It features a 30-place capacity for 1.5 mL or 2.0 mL microcentrifuge tubes, arranged in a 45° fixed angle to minimize run times and optimize pellet formation.

Constructed from anodized aluminum with a chemical-resistant PTFE (Teflon) coating, this rotor is built to withstand rigorous cleaning protocols and is fully autoclavable at 121°C. It is rated for a maximum speed of 14,000 RPM, generating a Relative Centrifugal Force (RCF) of approximately 20,817 x g. This high g-force makes it ideal for standard molecular biology applications, such as pelleting DNA, RNA, and protein precipitates.
