The Polymer Laboratories 3540-B603 is a StratoSpheres SPE (Solid Phase Extraction) Column, featuring 200 mg of PL-HCO3 MP sorbent. The PL-HCO3 MP sorbent is a macroporous, polystyrene-based polymer resin functionalized as a strong anion exchanger with a bicarbonate (HCO3) counterion. This polymeric material offers significant advantages over traditional silica-based sorbents, including a much higher loading capacity, compatibility with a broader range of solvents (polar and non-polar, protic and aprotic), and the ability to dry out during conditioning steps without compromising recovery or reproducibility.
