KF Flange Clamp KF425 Aluminum Double Hinged Clamp with Wing Nut 6 Clamps
The KF25 (NW25) Double Hinged Aluminum Clamp is a standard quick-release fastener used to connect vacuum components in roughing and high-vacuum lines. Designed for the ISO-KF (Klein Flange) system, this specific clamp is sized to fit DN25 flanges, which have an outer diameter of 40 mm.
Key Design Features:
Double Hinged (Double Claw): Unlike single-hinge clamps, the double-hinge design allows the clamp to open wider and wrap around the flange connection more easily in tight spaces. It also applies more uniform pressure around the circumference of the seal.
Aluminum Construction: The body is made of die-cast aluminum, which is lightweight and durable, while the hinge pins and wing nut are typically stainless steel or plated steel to prevent seizing.
Wing Nut: The large wing nut allows for tool-free tightening. By hand-tightening this nut, the tapered inner surfaces of the clamp compress the two flanges against a centering ring.
