The WaterSep 10RES12 SO Hollow Fiber Filter Cartridge is a specialized Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF) module designed for laboratory-scale purification and concentration of biological samples. This single-use filter is part of the Researcher 12 series, optimized for method development and small-batch processing.

A key feature is the m-PES (modified Polyethersulfone) membrane with a specific 750 kDa (750,000 Dalton) molecular weight cutoff (MWCO). This very high MWCO is suitable for retaining extremely large macromolecules, such as viruses, large protein aggregates, or nanoparticles, while allowing smaller proteins and buffer components to pass through. The m-PES material provides high flow rates and low protein binding.

The cartridge offers a filtration area of 444 cm², which is ideal for processing moderate lab-scale volumes (typically 50 mL to 2 L). The hollow fiber geometry minimizes shear stress and fouling, and the single-use (SU) design in a green housing ensures sterility and eliminates the need for cleaning and cleaning validation.
