The Bio-Rad 1704446 is a heavy-duty analytical comb designed for the Sub-Cell GT and Wide Mini-Sub Cell GT horizontal electrophoresis systems. It is the "standard" high-volume comb for these 15 cm-wide systems. Because the wells are wider and thicker, they can hold a significant amount of DNA. This is ideal for extracting DNA from a gel after a run. The thicker teeth are also highly resistant to warping or "combing", which ensures your lanes remain perfectly straight. This comb is a Fixed Height model, featuring integrated "wings" that rest on the edges of the gel tray casting gates, ensuring the teeth are positioned at the perfect depth every time.
