The Bio-Rad 1704447 is a high-throughput analytical comb designed for the Sub-Cell GT and Wide Mini-Sub Cell GT horizontal electrophoresis systems. This specific model is the thin-set version of Bio-Rad’s standard 20-well comb, optimized for high-resolution imaging. Wider wells are generally easier to hit with a standard pipette tip, reducing the risk of cross-contamination between wells. This comb is designed to fit into the slots of the UV-Transparent (UVTP) GT Gel Trays. It is best suited for concentrated PCR products or high-sensitivity stains like SYBR Green.
