The Chemglass CG-1554-20 is a high-performance 5 ml pear-shaped flask designed for precision microscale laboratory work. Built with heavy-wall borosilicate glass, it offers superior durability and safety, particularly during high-vacuum or high-temperature procedures. The tapered bottom is engineered to maximize sample recovery. By funneling liquids into a small, concentrated area, it ensures that almost no material is lost during evaporation or distillation.

Unlike standard glassware, this flask is hand-blown to have uniform, thick walls. This makes it much more resistant to mechanical breakage and thermal shock, and it is rated for safe use under full vacuum.
