The Chemglass CG-424-75 is a high-quality PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) stopcock plug designed for use in precision laboratory glassware, such as burettes, separatory funnels, and chromatography columns. PTFE is the material of choice for these components because it is self-lubricating, eliminating the need for stopcock grease which can contaminate sensitive chemical samples.

Technical Specifications

  • Bore Size: 4 mm. This refers to the diameter of the internal channel that allows liquid or gas to pass through when the stopcock is in the "open" position.

  • Material: Pure PTFE, providing excellent chemical resistance to almost all laboratory solvents, acids, and bases.
