The Chemglass CG-1524-36 Round Bottom Flask is a specialized, multi-neck reaction vessel with a 250 mL capacity. It features three angled necks with different standard taper joint sizes: a 29/42 center neck (CN) and two 24/40 side necks (SN). The three necks allow for complex experimental setups, enabling the simultaneous connection of a central stirrer or thermometer, a condenser, and an addition funnel. The flask is made from heavy-walled borosilicate glass, known for its excellent resistance to thermal shock and chemical attack. This flask is an essential tool for complex chemical syntheses. Its primary applications include multi-component reactions, inert gas reactions, and complex distillations.
