The Chemglass CG-1525-A-01 is a specialized 50 mL 3-neck round bottom flask designed for high-efficiency mixing and reaction control. It combines a compact microscale volume with advanced structural features like Morton indents and angled necks. The four indents act as internal baffles. When used with a magnetic or mechanical stirrer, they disrupt the circular vortex, creating turbulent flow and significantly increasing the mixing efficiency of heterogeneous mixtures or viscous liquids. The angled configuration allows for easier access when adding reagents via syringes or addition funnels while the center neck is occupied by a condenser or stirrer. Some of the common applications for this glassware includes heterogeneous catalysis, emulsion polymerization, and fast kinetics.
