Corning Axygen Microplate Sealing Film 100 Seals

The Corning Axygen® MF-300 Paper-Backed Heat-Sealing Microplate Sealing Film is a specialized adhesive film designed for permanently sealing microplates in high-throughput applications. This film is supplied as individual, non-sterile sheets with dimensions of 127.2 mm in length by 79.5 mm in width.

A key feature of this film is its paper-backed construction combined with a sealing layer made of Litto/Ethylene/Vinyl. This unique composition is activated by heat-sealing equipment, creating a robust, airtight, and solvent-resistant seal that prevents evaporation and cross-contamination. The total thickness of the film is 85 µm. The paper backing allows the film to be easily peeled off the plate after sealing and provides a clean, writable surface for sample identification and tracking.

The Axygen MF-300 sealing film is primarily used in PCR, qPCR, compound storage, and other applications that require the highest level of seal integrity and protection against evaporation, especially during thermal cycling or long-term freezer storage. Its design ensures a reliable barrier that maintains the integrity of sensitive samples in various laboratory workflows.
