The Eppendorf 2226095-2 Combitips Advanced (0.05 mL) are specialized, positive-displacement dispenser tips designed specifically for use with the Eppendorf Multipette (Repeater) system. Unlike standard pipette tips that rely on an air cushion, these tips feature an integrated piston that makes direct contact with the liquid. This design is technically superior for handling "difficult" fluids—such as viscous glycerol, volatile alcohols, or high-vapor-pressure detergents—because it eliminates the inaccuracies caused by air expansion or contraction. The 0.05 mL (50 µL) capacity is the smallest size in the Combitip range, allowing for ultra-precise, repetitive dispensing of volumes as low as 1 µL when used with a compatible electronic or manual Multipette.

Each tip is manufactured from high-purity polypropylene and polyethylene without the use of slip agents, biocides, or plasticizers that could leach into and contaminate sensitive biological samples. The elongated tip geometry is specifically engineered to reach the bottom of standard 0.5 mL and 1.5 mL microtubes, ensuring maximum sample recovery. These tips are color-coded (with a white plunger ring) to allow for instant volume identification and feature a built-in sensor chip that the Multipette reads to automatically set the correct volume display. This box of 50 tips is provided in the "Eppendorf Quality" grade, making them ideal for standard laboratory applications that do not require specialized PCR-clean or sterile certifications.
