The IDEX (Upchurch Scientific) F-130 is an industry-standard one-piece fingertight fitting designed for high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and other fluidic systems. These fittings are widely favored because they eliminate the need for separate ferrules, reducing the risk of lost parts and simplifying connections.

Core Specifications & Design

  • Material: Manufactured from PEEK (Polyetheretherketone), a high-performance polymer known for its exceptional chemical resistance and mechanical strength.

  • Tubing Compatibility: Designed for 1/16" OD tubing (PEEK, Stainless Steel, FEP, etc.).

  • Thread Port: Standard 10-32 coned threads, compatible with the vast majority of HPLC column ports, valves, and unions.

  • Fingertight Convenience: Engineered to be tightened by hand to reach high pressures, though they can be further tightened with a wrench if necessary (though rarely required).
