The Chemglass CG-1520-02 is a high-quality 2-neck round bottom flask designed for precision laboratory work. It is constructed from heavy-wall borosilicate glass, which provides extra durability and safety when working under vacuum or high pressure. This angled design allows for the simultaneous use of accessories. You can have a condenser or stirrer in the center neck while using the side neck for a thermometer, addition funnel, or gas inlet. It is highly resistant to thermal shock, making it safe for use in heating mantles or oil baths during reflux and distillation. Some of the common applications include vacuum distillation, inert atmosphere synthesis, and controlled reagent addition.
