Corning Watch Glass Beaker Cover Lot of 5 100 mm and 2 150 mm Covers

The Corning 9985-100 and 9985-150 are plain, heavy-duty Pyrex watch glasses designed to serve as beaker covers or for evaporating small volumes of liquid. They are manufactured from Code 7740 borosilicate glass, which is highly resistant to chemical attack and thermal shock. Both models feature a fire-polished edge to reduce chipping and are molded to a uniform radius of curvature, allowing for easy nesting and stacking in laboratory storage. The 100 mm diameter disc provides a safe overlap to prevent dust contamination while maintaining a compact footprint. The 9985-150 watch glass are primarily used for large-scale operations using 2000 mL beakers. The increased surface area also makes it better suited for the slow evaporation of larger solvent volumes.
