The Kontes 3-Neck Round Bottom Morton Flask is a specialized 100 ml reaction vessel designed for high-efficiency mixing. It combines the versatility of a 3-neck configuration with Morton indents to significantly enhance turbulence during stirring. The flask features four deep "dimples" or indents around the perimeter. These act as internal baffles that break up the circular flow of liquids, creating intensive turbulence and preventing the formation of a vortex. This is critical for gas-liquid or solid-liquid reactions where high mass transfer is required.
