The VWR E1007-10 is the replacement gel tray base (also referred to as a casting stand) for the VWR Mini Horizontal Electrophoresis System. It is a critical component for "leak-free" casting of agarose gels before they are placed into the buffer tank. Provides a level, stable platform for casting gels using casting dams or gaskets. The base is notched or sized to accommodate two different lengths of trays, allowing you to choose the gel size based on the number of samples or the migration distance required. Features precision-machined slots that work with casting dams to create a tight seal without the need for messy autoclave tape.
