BugLab Biomass Sensor for Bioreactor Noninvasive
The BugLab BE2100 Noninvasive Biomass Sensor is a specialized piece of analytical equipment used to monitor the density of living cells (biomass) within a bioreactor or fermenter without needing to physically sample the culture. The sensor is typically attached to the outside of a glass or transparent vessel (bioreactor), measuring biomass through the reactor wall. This eliminates the need for a sterile port, reduces the risk of contamination, and simplifies setup. The sensor provides continuous, real-time data on the growth curve of the culture. The BE2100 is primarily used in biotechnology and pharmaceutical R&D and process control.
