Its primary function is to provide "fingertip" control over sensor placement, allowing researchers to lift, move, and lower electrodes into samples with a single smooth motion. This reduces the fatigue and risk of breakage often associated with manually holding delicate glass sensors during long titration series.

A standout feature of this stand is its 360° pivoting arm, which is articulated at three distinct points. This geometry allows the arm to extend up to 21 inches (53 cm) laterally while maintaining the electrode holder in a perfectly vertical orientation.
