The Fisherbrand™ Electrode Holder Swing Arm Stand (Model 22286439) is a heavy-duty, articulated support system designed to manage multiple electrochemical probes simultaneously. Its primary function is to provide "fingertip" control over sensor placement, allowing researchers to lift, move, and lower electrodes into samples with a single smooth motion. This reduces the fatigue and risk of breakage often associated with manually holding delicate glass sensors during long titration series.

A standout feature of this stand is its 360° pivoting arm, which is articulated at three distinct points. This geometry allows the arm to extend up to 21 inches (53 cm) laterally while maintaining the electrode holder in a perfectly vertical orientation. This "parallel motion" design is critical for ensuring that delicate glass bulbs do not strike the sides of beakers during positioning. The mechanism utilizes a spring counterbalance, which supports the weight of the arm and probes, preventing them from crashing down if released and ensuring they stay exactly where you position them.

The unit is anchored by a heavy 8-inch (20 cm) weighted die-cast metal base. This heavy footprint provides the low center of gravity necessary to prevent tipping, even when the arm is fully extended with a full load of sensors. The holder head itself is versatile, typically designed to accommodate up to four standard electrodes (such as pH, conductivity, and dissolved oxygen probes) along with a separate slot for an ATC (Automatic Temperature Compensation) probe, keeping all sensors clustered together for accurate, simultaneous readings in the same sample vessel.

Used; good condition.
