The HelGroup HEL OTT-15-002 is a critical Over Temperature Safety Cut-out Box specifically designed for the FlowCAT E1412 benchtop flow reactor system. This safety device acts as an independent hardware watchdog to prevent thermal runaway in high-pressure flow chemistry applications. Operates separately from the main system controller to ensure that if the primary software or hardware fails, the OTT-15-002 can still shut down the heating elements. Specifically integrated for the FlowCAT E1412, protecting the reactor modules, expensive catalysts, and sensitive chemical samples from damage caused by excessive heat. Some practical applications include unattended flow chemistry, high-pressure hydrogenation, regulatory compliance, and to prevent catalyst sintering.
