The Thermo Scientific (Forma) Model 370 Steri-Cycle CO2 Incubator is a widely used, high-reliability lab incubator for the maintenance of sensitive cell cultures. The Model 370 belongs to the Forma Steri-Cycle line, which is distinct for its focus on CO2 control and contamination prevention.

The defining feature of the Model 370 is its "Steri-Cycle" technology, which allows users to run an on-demand, high-temperature (140°C) sterilization cycle. This cycle effectively eliminates bacteria, mold, yeast, and mycoplasma from all internal surfaces without the need for autoclaving separate parts.

In addition to heat sterilization, this incubator is equipped with a continuously active in-chamber HEPA air filtration system. This system filters the entire chamber air volume every 60 seconds, maintaining Class 100 (ISO Class 5) air quality conditions. This ensures that particulates and airborne contaminants are scrubbed from the environment almost immediately after the door is closed, providing robust protection for open cultures.

The unit features a 184 L (6.5 cu. ft.) capacity with a polished stainless steel interior and utilizes Direct Heat technology (rather than a water jacket) for uniform temperature control and lighter weight.
