The Contour Glass Chromatography Column is a heavy-duty laboratory vessel designed for large-scale liquid chromatography. This specific model features a 500 mm effective length and a 50 mm internal diameter. Includes a coarse porosity (40–60 µm) glass frit to support the stationary phase (packing material) without the need for glass wool. This is a standard large-format column suitable for high-volume liquid chromatography. It utilizes medium-wall tubing for added durability during pressurized flash chromatography. This column is ideal for flash chromatography techniques. The Contour Glass Chromatography Column is built from heavy-wall Borosilicate 3.3 glass, making it highly resistant to thermal shock and chemical attack from common chromatography solvents like hexane, ethyl acetate, and dichloromethane.
