The Sartorius BB-88430940 is a specialized 75 mm 6-blade disk impeller engineered for the Biostat® Cplus and other Sterilize-In-Place (SIP) stainless steel fermentation systems. Unlike standard benchtop impellers, this heavy-duty version features a 15 mm inner bore designed to mount onto high-torque pilot-scale stirrer shafts. This impeller is the industry standard for microbial fermentation where high oxygen mass transfer (kLa) and intensive gas dispersion are required.
